The Port of Ridgefield Board of Commissioners has accepted the resignation of CEO Randy Mueller, effective March 7, following a 60-day notice.
Deputy Port Director Ethan Perry will step in as acting CEO while the commission determines permanent leadership.
Mueller, appointed in 2022, previously served as executive director of the Port of Chehalis and spent seven years as the Port of Ridgefield’s director of business development. His tenure focused on economic growth and waterfront development.
“We appreciate Randy’s contributions to the Port and the Ridgefield community,” commission Chair Scott Hughes stated in a news release. “His leadership and work on key projects kept the Port on its mission to bring significant improvements to the Ridgefield community.”
Mueller will assist during the transition, with further leadership decisions to be announced.
