A concert and silent auction benefiting the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Vancouver by Dryke’s Garden of Hope will be featuring Grammy-winning guitarist Doug Smith and vocalist Judy Koch Smith on Aug. 1 at the Latte Da Coffee House and Wine Bar in Vancouver.
“Doug Smith is an internationally renowned acoustic guitarist who weaves together folk, classical, jazz and contemporary forms into a unique, flowing, original fingerpicking style,” a news release stated. “Doug’s music has been heard on radio and TV stations throughout the country, including The Discovery Channel, NPR, TCM, CNN, ESPN and E!, as well as Martha Stewart and Good Morning America.”
The auction will begin at 5 p.m. with music starting at 6 p.m. The event concludes at 8 p.m. The event will cost $25 for a ticket, which includes a glass of wine, beer or latte and a door prize drawing ticket. The tickets are available online at tinyurl.com/24pww9c9.
