Two Ridgefield High School (RHS) students recently earned some of Cascadia Tech Academy's highest honors for their achievements in career and technical education programs.

Construction technology student Connor Rapp was named a Distinguished Graduate. The award is presented to one student in each program area who demonstrates exceptional technical, academic and professional skills, according to a Ridgefield High School news release.

Rapp and cosmetology student Nadia Hernandez-Mack also received the Dennis Kampe Scholarship, which recognizes outstanding seniors planning to continue their education or training in their chosen field.

Cascadia Tech Academy serves students from 10 Southwest Washington school districts and offers career and technical education programs that allow students to earn high school and college credits while gaining hands-on experience.
