The Ridgefield American Legion Post conducted several events on the weekend before Memorial Day to honor service members who lost their lives serving in the Armed Forces. The events included flag placements at the cemetery, the placement of flags in downtown Ridgefield and a memorial ceremony, as well as “Buddy Poppy” events.
