Ridgefield Raptors season ends in West Coast League South Division championship game

The Ridgefield Raptors’ 2026 season ended after a 7-2 loss to the Corvallis Knights on Tuesday, Aug. 11, in the South Division championship game.

Prior to the division championship game on Aug. 11, the Raptors had faced the Knights six times in the prior two weeks. The Knights earned a 4-2 advantage in those six games en route to the South Division No. 1 seed, finishing the second half of the season 18-9 after starting off 13-14 in the first half.

The Raptors finished one of their highest-performing regular seasons in franchise history. After earning the first half division championship, the Raptors finished tied at the top of the WCL South Division at 31-23, along with the Walla Walla Sweets and Corvallis Knights.

Home field advantage at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex remained strong for the Raptors as they closed out the regular season with a 17-10 record at home.
