Children will explore their creative side as the Ridgefield School District celebrates Ridgefield Youth Arts Month in March, joining local businesses, organizations and artists to offer an abundance of artistic opportunities for children, according to a press release.

Ridgefield School District established Ridgefield Youth Arts Month to support its commitment to deliver personalized learning experiences for each student through appreciation of the arts as well as to increase support of the arts throughout the community, the press release stated.

To celebrate Youth Arts Month, Ridgefield Community Education will offer an array of classes for the community and kids of all ages. Children may choose from a variety of classes in arts and crafts or music and dance, or take in a virtual art show highlighting the work of talented students. Many of these activities and classes are free.

All classes have limited availability, and online pre-registration is required. Visit ridgefieldsd.org/page/youth-arts-month for a list of available classes and activities and for links to register. For additional assistance, call 360-619-1303.
