The City of Ridgefield is seeking a resident to serve as the city’s representative on the Clark County Arts Commission.
The 11-member Arts Commission promotes the arts across Clark County, expands access to public art and supports collaboration among artists, cultural groups, businesses and community organizations. Members also help local artists and arts organizations pursue grants and funding opportunities, according to a City of Ridgefield news release.
The appointment is for a four-year term. The representative must live within Ridgefield city limits and attend monthly meetings at 5:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.
Applicants must submit an online application and a cover letter outlining their qualifications, interest in the position and two to three arts-related priorities for Ridgefield. Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26.
