Rotschy Inc., a Vancouver-based construction company, announced the acquisition of J.L. Storedahl & Sons Inc. and Nor-Tech Fabrication, LLC on Feb. 10. The companies will continue independent operations and retain their employees.
J.L. Storedahl & Sons Inc. is a Battle Ground-based sand and gravel aggregate supplier and Nor-Tech Fabrication LLC is a Kelso-based manufacturing facility offering custom fabrication.
“This acquisition does not change the competitive landscape,” Rotschy Inc. representative Nick Massie stated in a company press release. “J.L. Storedahl & Sons will continue to operate under its own name, retaining its leadership and workforce while upholding its long-standing commitment to quality. We want to assure customers, suppliers, and partners that pricing structures will remain consistent with market trends, and competition in the industry remains robust.”
The acquisition follows a $44.6 million rail line expansion contract awarded to Rotschy Inc. by the Port of Longview Board of Commissioners on Jan. 22.
