The Reflector’s “Best of the Best” awards ceremony highlighting outstanding businesses, organizations and individuals that heavily contribute and impact Clark County and beyond returns for its second installment this year, with the nomination window closing on Friday, Feb. 20.

The Best of the Best contest gives Reflector readers the opportunity to honor their favorite businesses, organizations and individuals that help make up the fabric of the communities we cover. The contest will consist of two phases: the nomination phase and the voting phase. The nomination phase allows readers to nominate their favorites in over 120 categories, which began earlier this month and will last through Friday, Feb. 20.

The dozens of award categories range from best restaurant to best nurse, best barista to best winery, and more. Winners are chosen by the readers in the online voting round.

This year, the contest is expected to grow in engagement.

“We’re super excited for our second annual Best of the Best contest!” Brian Watson, CT Publishing regional sales manager, said. “Last year was an incredible success, and I think this year will be even bigger and better than ever!”

The top three vote recipients in each category will move onto the voting phase, which will be from March 13 until March 27.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Battle Ground Event Center in May on a date-to-be-determined.

“We’ll produce a beautiful, glossy program with a breakdown of the top three in each category and photos of all the winners,” Watson said. “They’ll also be announced in the print edition of The Reflector and on our social media page as well.”

Last year, the awards ceremony brought together numerous community members, from business owners to grocery store clerks, to highlight who makes the community great.

“We can’t wait to see who our readers choose as the Best of the Best,” Watson said.
