A late February trial date has been set for the former principal of Oregon’s Rainier Jr/Sr High School arrested in September for suspicion of possessing over 30 files of child sex abuse material.

Jeremy Peter Williams, 49, of Longview pleaded not guilty Sept. 24 to 13 felonies in Cowlitz County Superior Court.

Superior Court Judge Thad Scudder scheduled on Monday a potential trial date of Feb. 26.

National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported to police 31 files were flagged between two internet providers as containing potential child sexual abuse materials linked to Williams.

Court records show sexually explicit files Williams accessed include a child as young as 6 months old, and another around age 5.

The instant messaging app Kik notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on March 29 that a user connected to Williams uploaded 10 files of minors engaging in sexual conduct, according to arresting documents.

Law enforcement also received tips around June 17 that Kik and Discord reported an email associated with Williams to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about similar activities.

Williams uploaded 10 images of children engaging in sexual activity on Kik on or about April 22, then similar activity around June 1 on Discord, arresting documents state.

When arrested on Sept. 16 at his Longview home, Williams told authorities he participated in "age-based" sexual role play through on instant messaging platforms like Discord, in which he would receive and send images and videos containing child sexual abuse materials, the report continues.

His is charged with 11 counts of possession of depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct in the first-degree, and two counts of dealing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct in the first degree.

His next court date is set for Jan. 5.
