Muchas Gracias, a popular casual Mexican restaurant chain with multiple locations in Vancouver, recently applied for tenant improvement permits in Battle Ground.
On Wednesday, July 1, permits for commercial tenant improvements at 1218 SW Scotton Way in Battle Ground were applied for with a description labeling the possible future tenant as Muchas Gracias.
The Mexican restaurant chain serves fresh tacos, burritos, tostadas, carne asada and more for dine-in, pickup or delivery.
The tenant improvements in the existing space include partition walls, service counters, suspended ceilings and new bathrooms. The retail space, constructed as part of the Millcreek Town Center project that is anchored by Walmart, also includes a drive-thru option.
The proposed new restaurant is located in the same building as Chiro One Chiropractic and Wellness Center of Battle Ground. Records show the 1,800-square-foot space has not had a tenant since being constructed in the 2010s.
As of press time, permits were not issued by the city of Battle Ground. Project narrative and site plans were also not available as of press time.
