Vancouver police arrested 20-year-old Andrew Guerrero June 24 after investigating alleged sex crimes involving two teenage girls who had been staying with him in a hotel room.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, officers responded after receiving information that multiple juveniles were staying in a hotel room with an adult man. Officers found five juveniles inside the room, including girls ages 13 and 16.

Investigators allege Guerrero met the girls through social media about a month earlier and later arranged to meet them in person. Police said the investigation determined the girls had been staying in the hotel room with Guerrero.

Guerrero was booked into jail on six counts of second-degree rape of a child and two counts of first-degree trafficking. Charges have been filed, and the case is pending in court.
