Woodland Public Schools Family Community Resource Center (FCRC) recently received socks, leggings and more than $1,000 worth of shoes for students in need from the Assistance League of Southwest Washington, according to an April 16 press release.

“Their donations and ongoing partnership has made a significant impact on the lives of our students as proper attire is crucial for students’ self-esteem and academic success,” Jonathan King, coordinator of the FCRC, said in the release. “By providing warm clothing and comfortable shoes, the Assistance League has empowered our students to focus on their studies without worrying about basic necessities.”
