WorkSource hosting hiring event this month

People looking for work will have more than a dozen companies from which to choose during a hiring event at WorkSource Aug. 16.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at WorkSource, 204 SE Stonemill Drive, Suite 215, Vancouver.

Companies participating in the event with jobs to fill include:

  • Boeing
  • Bureau of Reclamation Department of Interior
  • Center for Energy and Workforce Development
  • City of Vancouver
  • Clark College
  • Clark County
  • Clark Public Utilities
  • CRESA 911
  • C-Tran
  • Educational Service District 112 
  • Educational Service District
  • Fort Vancouver Regional 

Libraries

  • Multnomah County Sheriff
  • Transportation Safety Administration (TSA)
  • Waste Connections

Candidates should dress as they would for a job interview, bring copies of their resume  and be prepared to meet and interview with hiring managers, according to a WorkSource press release.
