The Battle Ground Police Department is investigating the suspected arson of vehicles at an apartment complex.
At about 3 a.m. on Dec. 26, the police department and Clark County Fire District 3 personnel responded to Meadow View Apartments in the 600 block of Northwest 20th Avenue for a reported fire.
Responders found several vehicles on fire which they were able to extinguish, according to a news release from the city. The fire appeared to have started from one vehicle and spread to others in the area.
“Evidence at the scene indicates that the fire may have been intentionally set,” the release stated.
Law enforcement and the Battle Ground Fire Marshal’s Office are investigating the incident and are seeking information from the public.
