Battle Ground Public Schools is offering kindergarten orientations for children who will be 5 years old by Aug. 31 at all seven of its primary schools. Students do not need to be enrolled to attend. Families have the opportunity to visit classrooms, talk to school staff and ask questions. The orientation schedules are:
• Daybreak Primary: 5-6:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 1900 NW 20th Ave., Battle Ground
• Captain Strong Primary: 4:30-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 21, 1002 NW Sixth Ave., Battle Ground
• Glenwood Heights Primary: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 9716 NE 134th St., Brush Prairie
• Yacolt Primary: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 406 W. Yacolt Road, Yacolt
• Maple Grove Primary: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 610 B SW Eaton Blvd., Battle Ground
• Pleasant Valley Primary: 5:30-7 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 14320 NE 50th Ave., Vancouver
• Tukes Valley Primary: 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, 20601 NE 167th Ave., Battle Ground
