Steven Corrie, 61, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away on May 6, 2024, after a hard battle with progressive supranuclear palsy.
Steve was born in Vancouver, Washington, to Betty (White) and Peter Corrie.
Steve was fiercely passionate about motorcycles and the outdoors from the start and dedicated his life to having fun outside.
Steve has two children from his first wife, Stephanie and Christina, and gained three more after marrying his second wife: Andrew, Kimi and Kirk. Steve married Chris Verbeck in 2018, and they have been adventuring across the U.S. and Mexico ever since.
Steve was a strong, kind, loving and supportive father, husband, son and brother. He made friends everywhere he went and would help anyone who needed it without a second thought. Steve spent many years competing and supporting the Baja 1000 and was very well known in the Clark County area as The Trackmaster.
Steve was predeceased by his father, Peter Corrie; his beloved grandmother Florence White; and his stepfather, Clyde Standfill. Steve leaves behind his mother, Betty Standfill; his wife, Chris Corrie; his daughters, Stephanie Christianson and Christina Lampert; his stepsons, Andrew and Kirk Hoodenpyl; stepdaughter Kimi Hoodenpyl; step-grandchildren Emma Brunner, Hunter Hoodenpyl, Ryder Selden, Andrew Lampert, Cole Heyer and Ayden Lampert; his siblings, Todd Corrie, Darrela Standfill, Jennifer French, Tiffany Baxter and Kathleen Kasey; and multiple nieces and nephews.
His celebration of life will take place on Sunday, May 19, at 1 p.m. at 5610 NE 199th St, Vancouver.
