Battle Ground Parks and Recreation will host two five-day camp events for you, in collaboration with the YMCA, from Monday, July 22, to Friday, July 26, in the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Main Street.
The community center will host a comic drawing camp for children ages 6 through 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This camp will allow young artists to delve into comic book art and storytelling.
"Storybook Y Chef," a separate camp event, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon on the same days. Children ages 4 through 6 will read storybooks and recreate recipes from the book.
