Kelleyn “Sue” Jones was born June 25, 1938, in Vancouver, Washington, and left us Aug. 9, 2024, in Battle Ground, Washington.
Sue Lived in Vancouver until the early 1990s before moving to Moses Lake, Washington, with her husband, Larry. She graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1956. Sue was involved in 4-H when her three children were young. She was a farmer and a beautiful knitter. Sue and Larry were active in the First Baptist Church in Warden, where they made many friends. They moved back to the Battle Ground area in early 2022.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Jones, in 2023; her parents, Warren Castrey and Adah Horne; and two stepsons, Kirby Jones and Aaron “Sparky” Jones. She is survived by sons, Kelley (Debi) Babcock, of Battle Ground, Washington, and Kent (Sabrina) Babcock, of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Kerri (Rick) Harris, of Battle Ground, Washington. She is also survived by stepchildren, Cari (Ernie) Jones, of Naukati, Alaska, Devon (Michael) Stone, of Camas, Washington, Nena (John Lamoreau) Jones, of La Grande, Oregon, and Rand Jones, of Malaga, Washington; and numerous, much-loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
