Bridge #299 in Yacolt and bridge #275 in Brush Prairie closed due to high flood waters on Wednesday, Dec. 6. Clark County Public Works issued the bridge closures. Bridge #299 carries NE. CC Landon Rd. over Yacolt Creek. Bridge #275 carries Northeast 112th Avenue over Salmon Creek.

The bridges are closed indefinitely, as Clark County Public Works must wait until the flood waters recede to perform inspections.

Drivers in Yacolt should use Northeast Parcel Avenue and East Railroad Avenue to detour around the bridge closure.

An alternative route for bridge #275 in Brush Prairie is not available, as it is located on a dead end street.

Clark County’s flood watch will continue until 6 p.m Wednesday, Dec. 6, according to the National Weather Service. A flood advisory will remain in effect until 1 a.m. Dec. 7.

Updates on the bridge closure will be available on Clark County Public Works social media and at  clark.wa.gov/public-works.
