Clark College Jazz Band to host winter concert

The Clark College Jazz Band will debut its new jazz combo at its winter concert at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 6, in the Gaiser Student Center at Clark College Campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.

Admission is free, and the performance is open to the public. Donations to the Clark College Music Department are welcome at the door.

Dr. Doug Harris will direct the concert. Harris joined Clark College in 2018 after serving as assistant director of bands at Western Kentucky University and director of bands at both Santa Clara and Southern Utah universities.



The performance will also include music from Louis Bellson, Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson and Count Basie, according to the Clark College press release.
