The Clark County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the county's 2025-2045 comprehensive plan update at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20.
The hybrid hearing will take place in the sixth-floor hearing room at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, and online via Webex. The commission will consider proposed updates to the comprehensive plan and zoning maps, development code, Arterial Atlas, capital facilities plans, and school, fire and traffic impact fees, according to a Clark County news release.
The comprehensive plan serves as the county's long-range guide for growth and development in unincorporated Clark County through 2045.
The hearing is the first of several meetings on the proposed comprehensive plan update. Planning Commission deliberations are scheduled for Sept. 3, followed by tentative County Council hearings Oct. 6 and Oct. 13.
