Clark County Council is seeking applicants to fill seven volunteer positions on the Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 26.
One position is for a vacant, unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2027. The remaining six positions are for three-year terms beginning Jan. 1, 2026, and ending Dec. 31, 2028.
The 10-member advisory board provides leadership and makes recommendations to the County Council on developmental disabilities services and planning. Members include individuals with developmental disabilities, family members, business representatives and other community members with interest or expertise in the field, a news release by Clark County stated.
The board meets at 5:15 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in a hybrid format.
