Perennial, bulb and seed swap: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Join the Clark County Master Gardeners as they hold their sixth annual perennial, bulb and seed swap, which includes a plant sale and variety of seeds to choose from. Those who bring items to trade are expected to label their items clearly. Plants should also be well watered and pest free. Bingo: 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Join Battle Ground Elks Lodge No. 2589 for a game of bingo. All members and guests are welcome. It will be held at the Battle Ground Elks Lodge, 907 SE Grace Ave., Battle Ground. For more information, call Mel Sanders at 360-687-1230.

Clark County Roadster Show: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8 and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9. Come to the Clark County Event Center for the first Clark County Roadster Show, which will feature over 100 classic and new cars, as well as a cornhole tournament and food from Beaches Restaurant and Bar. It will be held at 17402 NE Delfel Road, Ridgefield. Tickets at the door cost $20 for general admission, $18 for military members, and kids 12 and under can enter for free. Country Gospel Fellowship grand opening: 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9. Join the Battle Ground community as the Country Gospel Fellowship church opens its doors. There will be a potluck as well. It will be held at 11117 NE 189th St., Battle Ground. 

Battle Ground senior luncheon: Doors open at 11 a.m., general meeting at 11:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon on Monday, Oct. 10. Join the Battle Ground seniors for their monthly luncheon. Lunch will be provided by Prairie Tavern, Nick Jolma and Corwin Beverage. A donation of $5 is suggested, but not required. The event will be held at the Battle Ground Community Center, 912 E. Soil workshop: 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11. Join James Cassidy, a soil science instructor at Oregon State University, as he gives the presentation: “Soil! What it is and How it Works.” The presentation will explain how soil stores nutrients and more. The event is free. People can register online at mgfcc.com. Rock For Autism: 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15. Join Billy Blues Bar and Grill during the Rock For Autism fundraiser, which will help provide food and gifts for families with autistic children during the holidays. QuiltFest Northwest: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20 through Saturday, Oct. 22. Join Clark County Quilters for the 47th annual Regional Quilt and Fiber Arts Show. It will have a “Sunshine & Roses” themed show which will feature over 300 quilts along with special exhibits and events, challenge quilts, a vendor mall, the Diana Cherrywood traveling exhibit, the Fort Vancouver Tapestry, and more. It will cost $8 per day or $15 for a three-day pass. Tickets for children under 12 are free and parking is $6 with cash or card.
