Virginia Gayle Swift Clare, a Battle Ground resident from 1969 to 1981, passed to her heavenly home on June 5, 2024, at the age of 84.
She was at home surrounded by her family in her final days.
Virginia was active in the Methodist church, Girl Scouts, community education, 4-H and Cub Scouts. Ginger loved life, made friends easily and was always up for adventure. She will be missed.
She is survived by her three children, Casey Rouse (Don), Daniel Clare (Lynn) and Douglas Clare (Talia); her grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren.
Her celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. July 27 at Bethel Church, Vashon, Washington. The service will be in person and streaming online at Bethelvashon.com.
