County seeks public feedback on parks, trails in online survey

Posted

Clark County is asking residents to share what they like about local parks, trails and natural areas and what they would like to see improved through an online survey open through Nov. 1.

The survey asks how often people visit county parks, natural areas and trails, what activities they participate in at parks and why they use county trails.

Responses will help guide updates to the county’s Parks and Natural Areas System Plan, which sets priorities for park improvements, trail expansion, new recreational opportunities and long-term stewardship of natural areas, according to a Clark County news release.

The survey takes about five to 10 minutes to complete and is available in multiple languages. Participants can also enter to win one of five $50 gift cards.
