County seeks volunteer for Development and Engineering Advisory Board

Clark County is seeking a professional engineer in the public sector to join the Development and Engineering Advisory Board (DEAB), which works alongside the Community Development and Public Works departments. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., Friday, July 5.

The volunteer will join the 10-person board, which reviews policy and county code changes and works on process improvement and fees with the county community development and public works departments. Recommendations by the board are routinely forwarded to the County Council, the county press release stated.

The DEAB meets at 2:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month in the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.



The volunteer’s term will begin immediately and end on March 31, 2026. Members are eligible for reappointment after their terms expire, the press release stated.

Applicants can submit a letter of interest and résumé to Mi- chelle Pfenning, County Man- ager’s Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, WA 98666. Applications can also be emailed to michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov.
