County seeks volunteers for Chelatchie railroad advisory board

The Clark County Council is seeking applicants to fill four positions on a 15-person board that advises the county on matters related to the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad.

Applicants with railroad management, regulations, operations or other railroad-related experience are desired. Experience in economic development, land use issues, transloading or other business experience using freight-rail service, transportation logistics,and work with municipalities and rail impacted areas is also desirable, according to a news release.

Board members serve three-year terms. Terms are anticipated to begin after April 1.



Interested residents should submit a letter of interest and resume to PWRailAdvisory Board@Clark.wa.gov or 4700 NE 78th St., Vancouver, WA 98665.
