Find produce, crafts and more at local farmers markets this season

Posted

Reap the benefits of local fresh produce, handcrafted goods and more at this season’s farmers markets across northern Clark County. This year, markets are available at Woodland, La Center, Ridgefield and Salmon Creek.

Farmers markets are beneficial to both the vendors and the customers, according to Friends of Clark County. Purchasing goods locally from the market results in fresher produce, creates less packaging waste and provides better profits to farmers and craftspeople.

“For every 1% of fruit, vegetables and meat consumed in Clark County that is purchased directly from a local farmer, the county keeps an additional $5 million in our local economy,” the Friends of Clark County website states.
