Ghost Town Poetry in Vancouver to host open mic featuring Julia Gaskill

Art at the Cave will host the Ghost Town Poetry Open Mic featuring Julia Gaskill at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10.

According to a release, Gaskill is a professional “daydreamer” from Portland who has competed multiple times on the national stage and has toured with her poetry across North America. Gaskill’s work has been featured through Pile Press, Vagabond City Lit, Nailed Magazine, Button Poetry and more. Gaskill’s debut full-length poetry collection, “Weirdo,” was published by Game Over Books in October of 2022. She can found online by searching juliagaskill.com.



A $5 suggested donation, which can be made in person or through event host Christopher Luna’s PayPal account, chistopherjluna@gmail.com, is encouraged. For PayPal donations, people should include a memo stating the money is for Ghost Town Poetry.
