The Humane Society for Southwest Washington will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, at 10501 NE Highway 99, Suite 31, in Vancouver. The event will showcase the Humane Society’s new Nierenberg Community Veterinary Clinic and Swigert Family Behavior & Training Center.
Self-guided tours and light refreshments will be available during the event. Staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions and discuss the new facilities, a press release by the Humane Society for Southwest Washington stated.
The new 4,300-square-foot veterinary clinic will provide wellness care and high-volume spay and neuter services for income-qualified families across Southwest Washington. Wellness exams, vaccinations and microchipping will also be available at the clinic. The facility will also provide preventative care services, such as dental, the press release stated.
Adjacent to the clinic is the new 1,100-square-foot Swigert Family Behavior and Training Center. The training center offers space for group classes, private behavior and training consultations and community education. Classes are open for registration online at shorturl.at/6Tej3.
