In loving memory of Jane Bononocini: 1953-2024

Posted

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Jane, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.

She was born July 16, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She moved to the Northwest and worked in the medical profession, both in surgical and orthopedic fields. She created many friends and smiles from her patients. Jane always prided herself in making her house a “home.” She made it warm, comfortable and full of love. She was extremely outgoing and friendly, always taking time to say “hello,” “how are you?” and “do you need anything?”

Jane loved gardening, taking the utmost care of her flowers. She enjoyed sewing, baking and knitting for others. She loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing and picking huckleberries.

Jane was a dedicated and well loved member of AA. She devoted much of her time to community service helping those in need and giving support when she could. This was who she was.

Jane is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ron; sons, Michael, of Castle Rock, and Jeffrey, of Ellensburg; and five grandchildren, all of whom called her “Nana.”

She is survived by two siblings, brother, Phillip Charles, and her twin sister, Ann.

A special thank you to the outstanding staff at The Ray Hickey Hospice House. Their compassion and loving care helped to make her final days peaceful. They were her angels.

Jane, you are finally at peace. No more suffering. And I am at peace with you. I love you sweet sister. — Ann

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 12 at Cherry Grove Church in Battle Ground, Washington.
