Jeanette Marie DuBravac, age 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 from interstitial lung disease and dermatomyositis. She was beloved by her friends and family and will be greatly missed.
She was born Jan. 21, 1955 as the youngest of six children. She grew up in Portland, Oregon and went to Park Rose High School. She served her country as an airframe repair specialist with the Air National Guard, where she attained the rank of staff sergeant, until her honorable discharge in 1989.
She met her husband Joseph when they worked together at Hearth Craft and the two were married in January 1979. She later worked for Frito-Lay as a sheeter maintenance operator and union shop steward, where she worked until retirement. In 1982, they welcomed their first son Tyson and in 1986, they had two additional twin sons Terry and Travis. That year, they bought a house in Ridgefield, Washington, where they raised their family and resided for the rest of her life.
She loved raising and showing horses and was an active member in the American Paint Horse Association, winning numerous awards throughout her life. Family was incredibly important to her, and she was adored for her kindness, humor, and incredible warmth. She was also a devoted Catholic and a parishioner at St. Mary of Guadalupe Church in Ridgefield, Washington. She is survived by her three children, as well as her brother Terry, and sisters Valerie, Linda and Marlene. Donations in Jeanette’s name can be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
