Kathryn Baker, 90, of Vancouver, died Oct. 10, 2025. She was born in Portland, Oregon.
Kathy graduated from Evergreen High School in 1952, where she was proud to serve as the school’s first female student body president.
After earning her degree from Clark College, she began her career at Alcoa. In 1957, she moved to Hawaii and lived in Waikiki, where she worked as a ground hostess for Qantas Airlines until 1962, when she returned to Portland.
Kathy worked as a travel agent for many years, enjoying opportunities to explore the world through her career. She moved to Hockinson in 1995.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Conrad Baker; her sister, Linda Marie Baker; and her brother, Jack Baker.
Survivors include her sister, Connie Franck; sister-in-law, Lily Baker; nieces, Dani Wisner and Kelly Baker; nephew, Dale DeFord; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
