Lori Raydene (Reddig) Homola gained her victory early Sunday morning on Jan. 29, 2023, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 51.
Lori was born in Vancouver, Washington to David and Juanita (McDaniels) Reddig on Jan. 11, 1972. She grew up in Brush Prairie, Washington and graduated from Prairie High School.
Lori married Brian Homola on Aug. 3, 1991. Brian and Lori made their home in Watertown, South Dakota and were blessed with nine children. Lori was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. Her Christianity was most important and her greatest desire would be that all could join her in heaven. Lori had a special love for little children.
Lori is survived by loving husband Brian of 31 years; children Jenny of Watertown, South Dakota; Heidi (Ryan) Williamson, of Sundance, Wyoming; Darin, of Hayti, South Dakota; Holly (Lars) Williamson, of Watertown, South Dakota; Leah (Nicholas) Berryhill, of Belle Fourche, South Dakota; Marci, Allison, Kami and Stacy, all of Watertown, South Dakota; 12 grandchildren; parents Dave and Nita Reddig; mother-in-law Ann Homola; siblings Randy (Carol) Reddig and Tami (Shonn) Balch; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and dear friends.
Lori was preceded in death by grandparents Earl and Raydene McDaniels, Walter Reddig and Rosalie Satern; father-in-law Theodore Homola; and great-nephew Cecil Kopman.
A service was held on Feb. 3, 2023 at Old Apostolic Lutheran Church in Lake Norden, South Dakota.
