Roger Lee Anderson, 88, of Salem, Oregon, passed away Dec. 26, 2025, at the VA Hospital.
He was born Aug. 31, 1937, in Buffalo, New York, to Harold E. Anderson and Theressa Fleming Anderson.
Roger dedicated his life to truck driving and had a true passion for being on the road. He was a snowbird chasing the sun, spending summers in Oregon and soaking up the sun all winter in Yuma, Arizona.
He is survived by his daughters, Kimmy Costello, Stacey Clerget, Gretchen Olson and Amy Hallstrom; and sons, Robert A. Anderson and Robert F. Anderson.
In addition, Roger was blessed to be survived by 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, three angels, and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Harold Anderson, Robert Anderson and Burton Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 16, 2026, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, located at 1101 N.E. 112th Ave., Vancouver, Washington 98684.
