Ruthann (Martin) Kujava, 82, of Battle Ground, Washington, passed away on Sept. 2, 2021.

Ruthann was born April 2, 1939 in Staples, Minnesota to Clarence and Rose (Thorp) Martin. Her family moved to Clark County in 1950-51. She graduated from Battle Ground High School, where she met her future husband, Robert Kujava.

Ruthann and Robert were married in 1958 and had two children, Melody and Steven. She loved her husband, family, friends and our Lord. She enjoyed quilting, canning, crafts, singing, piano, going for long drives with Bob and fast cars. She made hundreds of quilts for special people through the years. Her favorite was crazy quilts. She also had a sense of humor which she shared with everyone.

She is survived by children Melody (Mel) Finnell and Steven Kujava; granddaughters Selena Schoggins and Tiffany Kujava; great-grandson Rylan; brothers-in-law Lawrence Kujava and Johnny Kujava; sister-in-law Bernice Jehnsen; many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, parents, sister Adeline, and brothers Wesley, Rodger and Larry.

She put down her quilting, turned off the sewing machine, and joined Bob for their final long ride together.

At her request, no service will be held.
