Yvonne V. Peterson Folck passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2023, under hospice care. She was born Jan. 12, 1936, in Holdrege, Nebraska, to Fred and Alvira Peterson.
She graduated from Ridgefield High School in 1954. She was a homemaker where she enjoyed her family, bowling, horses and attending church and Bible study.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister and three brothers.
She leaves behind a sister, Ruth Brumfiel; daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Moir; sons, Jim Jr. (Ann) Folck and Don (Shelly) Folck; five granddaughters; six great-granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 8, 2023, at Layne’s Funeral Home, Battle Ground.
