Letter to the editor: Conservative property owner supports BGPS levy

Posted

As a conservative property owner in North County, I am supporting the Battle Ground Public Schools upcoming levy.

I firmly believe that defunding public education in Battle Ground has long lasting negative consequences for our community.

If you’re concerned about how taxes are being raised and used in our state, then contact your state legislators.

If you’re concerned about what is happening inside of our Battle Ground schools, attend the board meetings, join a local PTO, or volunteer in the schools. The shared values of the greater Battle Ground community are at stake with this levy.

I urge you to vote yes and support Battle Ground Public Schools.
