La Center Town Council had a very important meeting on June 25, 2025 pertaining to development at Timmens Landing where Eagles soar, a round-a-bout at Timmens Road & La Center Road and a 2.0 new-downtown, walking only.
I made large signs to inform early morning commuters knowing The Citizens had no clue as to this 'overpopulation' agenda that destroys Our Home Town feel. Approximately 50 Citizens attended this urgent meeting while Mayor Strobehn, Mayor pro tem Kasberg and Council
member Leija were out of town attending what seemed a more important meeting than this life changing meeting agenda. The People were not pleased and spoke up asking for a continuance to better understand. The Mayor adamantly denied the requests stating there were adequate open houses, work shops, etc ... that informed The People - I call foul as I knew The People had no clue, hence the signage for a call to action!
Come to find out, Council had a June 30 deadline.
The Will of The People were denied as this Council does 'The People's business'!!!
I consider this tyrannical and not acting in Good Faith. Too much money is involved with these developmental life changing agendas; as the Mayor stated he and the seller of Timmens Landing walked and talked a year and a half prior to any transparency to The People.
I became active in Local Government when the planneDemic began over four years ago and I can say the Clark County Citizens are trying to keep their jobs and food on the table and unfortunately didn't attend Town-City meetings.
I believe We The People must stop overpopulation, pollution in all of Clark County as resources are depleting and our heritage of a country-like setting diminishes!
Our ForeFathers WARNED US to STAND NOW!!
