Letter to the editor: Democrats are not innocent with tyranny

Posted

Make no mistake about this: If Joe Biden had declared himself "King" or "Emperor," the Democrats would have collectively spasmed in mindless delight—quivering at the knees and dropping to the floor to immediately bow before him.

We know this because they always show who they are because they confess through projection. Democrats accuse Trump of wanting to be "a king" because his administration is currently enforcing the law instead of ignoring it. Going after political corruption instead of empowering it. Deporting the imported people that Joe Biden brought in to undermine our votes. Trying to shrink the government instead of growing it. And using the law for lawful purposes and not for lawfare.

Need we all be reminded of how the Democrats in power seized upon that power and grabbed for more when COVID restrictions were mandated? Entire states turned away from freedom and embraced the yoke of tyranny overnight.

Democratic governors like Jay Inslee, Gavin Newsom, and many others used the COVID restrictions to allegedly violate human rights, attack our freedom, and ignore the Constitution—all in an open grab for power. They showed us who they were and what they stood for.

So don't buy into the Democrat narrative about Trump wanting to be a king. The dude isn't perfect, but he's doing the job we voted for—and he's doing it for free.

In closing, please know that if my opinion offends you, triggers you, or other, well then, that is on you. You cannot mandate my silence all because you fear my freedom to have and voice an opinion. I know that some will come at me personally in the hope that I'll just shut up. They'll do this because they fear mine, as well as your freedom of speech. They are the kind of people who would rather follow a king than support a President.
