When are Republicans going to wake up and condemn Jan. 6 and Trump? Americans need to protect our greatest treasure: democracy and freedom. Jan. 6 and Trump are a clear and present danger. All Americans need to understand that our democracy and freedom are in danger from the insurrection of Jan. 6. Trump, MAGA Republicans and conspiracies are trying to make the USA into a dictatorship.
This election is our time to send a message to the tyrants, dictators and autocrats in the United States that what is most important to Americans is democracy and freedom. I know there is inflation, rampant violence and gun violence. We can fix those problems.
But if we lose our democracy and freedom, we may never get those back. The Republicans, the law and order party, won’t even acknowledge the insurrection of Jan. 6.
The Republican plan for gun violence is more guns on the street. The Republican plan for inflation is to give more tax breaks for the 1%. Republicans are throwing out “red herrings,” violence, guns and inflation hoping that Americans won’t focus on the real threats in America, democracy and freedom. Don’t vote for Joe Kent or Tiffany Smiley.
Both want to take away your freedom and our democracy.
