Having lived here since 1987, I know Battle Ground is a great place to raise a family and provide a community for our kids.
So, it puzzles me when the local school district levy fails.
Why wouldn't I support the next generation of community members? The people who might be my electrician, car mechanic, nurse or the family that lives next door to me? I want them to feel like their community supports them and values having them live and work in the community they grow up and go to school in.
I want them to have the same educational opportunities that most of us had and that most other communities provide when they pass their local school levy.
Invest in our current and future community by supporting the families with kids in the Battle Ground School District.
Vote yes on the school levy this February.
