The upper parking lot and trailhead at Moulton Falls Regional Park at 7781 NE Lucia Falls Road, Yacolt, have reopened to the public. The Moulton Falls Bridge will remain closed as repair and preservation efforts continue, a news release by Clark County on Sept. 20 stated.
The bridge’s construction is slated for completion by the end of October. The construction schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change, the news release stated. Updates on the construction schedule are available online at shorturl.at/eEslg.
Contractors working on the Moulton Falls Bridge are conducting minor structural repairs and refinishing the wood stain during the closure, the news release stated.
Hikers may encounter construction-related inconveniences as work on the bridge continues. Hikers should also expect foot traffic from contractors along the Hantwick Trail as materials are delivered to the bridge, the news release stated.
