The 2024 annual seed swap and giveaway event, benefitting the North County Community
Food Bank (NCCFB) will occur from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 28 at Hockinson Community Center, 15916 NE 182nd Ave., Brush Prairie.
The annual event is hosted by KD Homestead and the Hockinson Community Education Center.
“All are welcome, and you don’t have to bring anything to participate,” the NCCFB press release stated. “Whether you are just starting to think about getting involved in gardening, or possess a wealth of experience and knowledge to share, you’ll find great friendships and information.”
The event offers the chance to pick from a multitude of flowers, herbs and vegetable seeds, in addition to a few bare-root ornamental plants.
