Northern Lights dazzle over Clark County with rare display

The Northern Lights made a rare appearance over Clark County overnight between Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11. The Aurora Borealis display was labeled a severe geomagnetic storm by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration causing displays directly above Washington for hours.



The photos were taken from Weyerhaeuser land east of Chelatchie near Tumtum Mountain after 11 p.m. on Friday, May 10.
