Two injured in rollover crash on I-5

Two people were transported to the hospital with injuries after a single-vehicle rollover accident on Interstate 5 near La Center. 

According to the Washington State Patrol, Ariana Tucker, 18, of Longview, was merging onto southbound I-5 from exit 16 when her vehicle drove onto the left shoulder. Tucker overcorrected the 2003 Mitsubishi Montero, swerved onto the right shoulder, lost control and rolled the vehicle twice, stated WSP.

Passenger Miles Radcliff, 25, of Longview, was also injured in the accident which ws reported at around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday.



Both Tucker and Radcliff were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. They were reportedly not wearing seatbelts, according to WSP.

The cause of the accident was determined to be wheels off the roadway. Drugs or alcohol were not involved, according to WSP, and charges are pending against Tucker. 

The vehicle was totaled.
