The Town of Yacolt is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on its Town Council for Position No. 2. Applications are due by 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7.
The appointed member will serve on the council until the December 2027 general election and may run for the seat at that time. Applicant interviews, the council’s selection and the swearing-in of the new member are expected to take place during the Dec. 8 council meeting, a Town of Yacolt news release stated.
Applicants must submit a résumé, application form and a criminal background release. Forms are available at townofyacolt.com or in person during business hours, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Town Hall, located at 202 W. Cushman St., Yacolt.
