Battle Ground Public Schools seeks members for Citizens Advisory Committee

Battle Ground Public Schools is seeking members for the Citizens Advisory Committee, which provides input on school district programs, policies and issues. Volunteer applications for the committee are due by Aug. 23.

The Citizens Advisory Committee consists of approximately 30 members, from businesses, municipal and faith-based leaders, to parents, guardians and senior citizens, a school news release stated.



The committee meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the second Thursday from September through April. During the meeting, committee members provide feedback to the superintendent and school board on district initiatives, the release stated.
