Clark County Elections began mailing ballots Tuesday, July 14, to eligible registered voters for the Aug. 4 primary and special election.
The primary election will include races for Clark County assessor, auditor, clerk, prosecuting attorney and county council seats in Districts 1, 2 and 5, among other offices.
Voters who do not receive a ballot by Thursday, July 23, should contact the Elections Office to request a replacement. Replacement ballots can also be requested through VoteWA.gov or by emailing
elections@clark.wa.gov. Requests by mail should be sent to Clark County Elections Office, P.O. Box 8815, Vancouver, WA 98666-8815.
The deadline to register to vote or update an existing voter registration online or by mail is 4 p.m. Monday, July 27. After that date, voters must register or update their registration in person by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, according to a Clark County news release.
Ballots returned through a drop box must be deposited by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4. Preliminary election results will be released after 8:30 p.m. that day, and official results will be certified Tuesday, Aug. 18.
